Tuscany is an ideal area to generete quality wines and this is due to his typical grape [called San Giovese Grosso]. Many famous wines are produced in such a central part of Italy and they all are characterized as red tasty and full-bodied wines. MONTALCINO WINES are produced in the village of Montalcino in the Siena's province. They are produced esclusively from Tuscany San Giovese grape. Full-bodied and  strong tasy, they are ideal for dishes caracterized by intense flavours (meat, game, soups, aged cheese). These wines may reach several levels of aging. Rosso di Montalcino is aged at least one year before sale, while Brunello may be aged for longer.

CHIANTI's  area is a large zone spreading out around Florence. Chianti wines are made essentially from San Giovese Grosso grapes with adding others type of grapes in different percentage. The result is a ful-bodied red wine, well matching with tastier dishes of meat, pasta and vegetables.
