The west part of the Tuscany, closer to the sea , produces other quality wines. Among them we must remmber the MORELLINO di SCANSANO a DOCG red wine bearing a fresh taste. Scnasano is a village in the hilly landscape surrounding Grosseto. From the same area, are generated other wine of worth as the MONTECUCCO WINES.

Among the Tuscany wines, we must consider VERNACCIA. It is produced as DOCG wine in the historical and famous village of S. Gemignano, exclusively from Vernaccia grapes. Vernaccia is a WHITE wine but it bears the fullfiness of the other red tuscany wines, because of is full-bodied taste. It is indicate with white meat, fried vegetables, soups, pasta dishes, middle aged cheese.
