Rum is a distilled beverage made from sugar cane. The distillate, a clear liquid, is then usually aged in oak and other barrels. It is generally produced in the Caribbean. Light Rums are used in cocktails whereas golden and dark rums are also appropriate for drinking straight.
CANNE ROYALE is a classic Rum of 40% alcohol. It has been aged for up to 8 years in toasted oak barrels. Smooth and balanced to the taste, it bears a dark copper colour due to its ageing. Canne Royale is not the very heavy aged Rum but it offers an enjoyable taste along with its respectable body.
