Olive Oil is a traditional crop of the Mediterranean Basin which  comprises the lands around and surrounded by theMediterranean Sea. The olive tree is native to the Mediterranean basin

Homer called it "liquid gold" and in the ancient Greece, athletes ritually rubbed it all over their bodies. Currently, Greece devotes 60% of its cultivated land to olive growing and it is the world's top producer of black olives. Greece holds third place in world olive production: 350,000 tons of olive oil annually of which 82% is extra-virgin. Among its counties, Peloponneso and Creta are the areas generating more production. 

 

We have listed a worthy Extra Virgin Olive oil produced in Creta, one of the  largest island in the Mediterranean Sea where the Minoan civilization arose between 2600-1400 BC.

The acidity of this Extra Virgin Olive Oil [legally certified] is really low [0,38%] and peroxides  less than 20%. 

 It is packed as glass bottles or tins and its pachaginng consist of different sizes:

bottle 0,250 Lt; bottle 0,500 Lt.. bottle 0,750 Lt.; bottle 1 Lt.

tin 0,50 Lt; tin 1 Lt.; tin 3 Lt.; tin 5 Lt.

 

 

Also, we have selected an Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil produced in the same island. This is an excellent product bearing an acidity minor of 0,3%

 

 

SYRIAN OLIVE OIL

As Mediterranea Country, Syria has been producing Olive Oil since the antiquity. It currently generates 4% of the entire world production. The Extra Virgin variety bears an acidity < 1%, while the Virgin < 2%
